The Church

deno 003.JPG

My family was bound and consumed with a fundamental religious belief that they were part of a small, select group of Christians that would be the only people saved from eternal damnation.
Each grandfather decided that they should preach, and began to do so with no qualifications or ordination. Both grandfathers built their own churches and were able to attract a small following. The church buildings were primitive, humble structures. Inside, we were cold in the winter, and scorched during the heat of the summer.
